Generations of the Poole family are proud to have been serving our customers since James Poole started stitching military uniforms during the Napoleonic Wars. His son, Henry Poole, is still seen as the founding figure of Savile Row around 200 years ago and we continue to offer a bespoke service, which we believe represents everything fine British tailoring is about.

We have partnered up with the GORE-TEX brand to create a new, made-to-order coat, one that merges historical elegance with the best of today’s functional capabilities. Drawing inspiration from our archives, the design of the Travel Trench is inspired by historic garments such as carriage and motor liveries, frock, morning and dress coats.
For the benefit of our overseas customers, our Trunk Shows take our fabric collections to you, in Europe, the Americas and the Far East. You’ll be able to pore over our samples and discuss options with our team from the comfort of a nearby hotel, where we’ll also conduct fittings.
